FGS successfully held the 3rd International Workshop on the Human-Earth System Dynamics and Modelling

The 3rd International Workshop on the Human-Earth System Dynamics and Modelling was held online on Nov 13 2020 by the State Key Laboratory of Earth Surface Processes and Resources Ecology (ESPRE). 9 scholars presented and 100 scientists and scholars from Beijing Normal University, Hehai University, Ocean University of China and other institutions attended the workshop. A deep discussion was carried out around four themes, which respectively are human-earth system dynamics, land surface process modelling and land cover change, two-way coupling between earth system model and socioeconomic model, multiscale relation between ecological process, ecological service and human well-being, as well as man-land coupling and sustainable development.
